Wolverine Ready Mix- SWPPP

  Chilkat assisted this concrete contractor with renewal of their Storm Water Pollution Prevention and Emergency Response plan established by our team 3 years previous when we designed the initial construction of rock pit and ponds. The plan was renewed after 3 successful years.

Takshanuk Watershed Council

  Chilkat performed volunteer services to train watershed council staff to carry on maintenance of contaminated soil stockpiles including repair of geotech material and operation of extraction systems, pumps and carbon filtration. Under management by Chilkat the previous landowner was able to reduce contaminated soil volume by 85% using our methods for soil remediation.  

Eklutna Brownfields

  Chilkat provided consulting support for the second year of the Native Village of Eklutna State Tribal Brownfields Response Program. Delta Western- Emergency Containment

  Delta Western hired Chilkat to perform an emergency containment of contaminated soil from a truck rack spill. Upon successful completion Chilkat authored a workplan for characterization of the spill site and assisted with ADEC regulatory compliance. Other details are confidential.  

ADOT- 7 mile Haines Hwy

  Chilkat Environmental was hired by Alaska Department of Transportation to cleanup a dumpsite along the Haines Highway. The site was a historic Tlingit village with complex ownership and current traditional uses for hooligan fishing. The site featured an abandoned RV, car, hazardous materials and extensive garbage.
