Chilkat Environmental has partnered with Cheetah Learning to offer the Environmental Project Management Certificate Program. This on-line course offers four college credits and satisfies ongoing education requirements for Project Management Professionals (PMP) accredited with the Project Management Institute (PMI). During the two month course the student works through a series of texts and modules to develop project management documents to use throughout their project. The project management systems have been developed by PMI and modified to fit environmental projects. Chilkat Environmental is the course instructor providing the role of guiding each student through assignments and approving completion. The benefits of PMI methodologies and of PMP certification encouraged us to develop this course. This opportunity has enabled us to support improved environmental project management for project managers from organizations ranging from Los Alamos National Laboratory to Merck Oil.
